About the museum

In Tržič Museum you will find very interesting exhibitions about our shoemakers, leather tanners, wheelwrights, dyers, sock makers, etc. The museum is also home to the Slovenian Ski Museum, which shows the history of skiing from prehistoric times to the present day. There is an important museum unit in Podljubelj, dedicated to the Ljubelj/Mauthausen Concentration Camp.

You are also welcome to visit our other units, as Tržič Museum comprises seven different units.
