The Slovenian Ski Museum

Tržič is one of the cradles of competitive skiing in Slovenia. The Slovenian Ski Museum opened its doors here in 2014.

This modern museum exhibition presents the history of skiing from prehistoric times to the present day. Many skis are on display and part of the collection shows how skiing began and developed in Tržič, including our best Alpine skiers who have achieved great successes in major competitions. A special place in the exhibition is reserved for our Slovenian champions Bojan Križaj, Mateja Svet and Žan Košir.
