Tržič Museum and its 7 units

Tržič Museum has several different units that are located in interesting historical buildings.

The museum’s main premises are located in the building known as Pollak's Manor, where the objects from our large trades collections are on display. The main focus is on shoemaking heritage. The Slovenian Ski Museum is also located in the same building. We invite you to visit the oldest house in town – Kurnik's House, where you can enjoy the ambience of the old architecture and the exhibitions. In the very centre of the town you can visit the old Germovka Forge.

Stop on the way to the Ljubelj Pass and visit the memorial park and museum dedicated to the former Ljubelj Concentration Camp – a satellite camp of Mauthausen. In the forest above the Dovžan Gorge you can visit the old hut that housed the partisan printing works.

The museum is preparing a rich exhibition programme in the Atrij and Paviljon NOB Galleries.
